With the net backing, you can cut thinner to save soil or thicker as the job requires, from 1/4” to 3”.
Our innovative two-conveyor system gives you newfound control over rolling tension. You’ll be able to pull sod into tighter rolls and start or stop a roll without gaps. Just skip over the bad turf patches and pull up on the ends with no problems.
Anti-vibration cutter heads are always in sync, reducing vibration by up to 75 percent. As one moves forward, the other moves back, reducing stress on the big roll sod harvester.
Its large removable tube rack is easy to reload whenever you need.
A tube injector makes for quick and easy tube addition, and with the net injector, you can introduce net to the big roll.
A self-starting conveyor eliminates needing to hand-wrap turf around the tube.
Anti-vibration cutter heads are always in sync, reducing vibration up to 75 percent. As one moves forward, the other moves back, reducing stress on the semi-automatic sod roll harvester.
The redundant can-bus control system along with the smart electric depth controls provide dependability and peace of mind in every situation.
The linear form of the automatic sod harvester makes it optimal for seamless road transport.
With dramatically increased total turf output, more big rolls per hour, and more revenue per acre, the SRA allows complete control with only one person needing to operate from within the cab.
Not to mention, this big roll sod harvester is the only machine on the market that includes automated control or manual backup operation. And if that were not enough backup, the Telematics enables remote tracking and diagnostics from Magnum's factory, ensuring rapid issue resolution.
With our new John Deere cab providing comfort and quiet, this sod and turf harvester will allow operators to work all day with very little fatigue.
Quality control has never been easier thanks to the operator having the best seat in the house. The operator sits above the conveyors, providing the perfect views of the sod being cut, conveyed, and rolled.
The SP is all about user-friendly designs and allows Magnum to track and diagnose from our factory, something that increases dependability and allows our support group to diagnose in minutes. This new fully automated big roll turf harvester has to be seen and operated to fully believe all of its capabilities.
This sod installer features a tighter turning radius, a longer life span for its bearings, a heavy-duty frame, and a Kubota diesel engine. Hydraulic clamps let the arms pick up a big roll without the need for a rod, meaning the operator never has to get off to manually change it. With the light kit option, you can use the sod installer even after dark.
Flotation tires allow for fewer pounds per square foot, creating less impact on the soil. The most convenient option is the finger-touch controls on the upgraded handle. The buttons control the hydraulic clamps and tension control and allow the operator to have all the controls needed at their fingertips, without removing the hand.
Need to load it onto a truck? The Magnum Installer can be picked up with a forklift and lifted onto the truck quickly and easily. Trailer? The front wheels rotate inward, so the installer can fit on a standard-size utility trailer. Just lift the arm, rotate the wheel, lower the arm, and pin shut, and you are ready to start installing.
As the netting comes off of the roll, the coulter pushes the net into the divot it makes in the soil. The net is then bunched together, pulling it tighter. Then a press wheel runs over the top of it to level out the soil and prevents the netting from pulling out of the divot.
This process is happening on the left and right side of the machine, allowing the installation of field net to be faster and easier than ever.
Want reinforcement to hold the netting down? Not a problem! Add dual auto-stakers to your machine allowing wood stakes to secure netting firmly to the soil with no manual labor. It allows the operator to set the controls to fire every certain number of feet, or it can be manually fired by pressing the button on the keypad.
The automatic field net staker has low amps and can be towable behind a small golf cart or four-wheeler, or it can connect to the tractor’s 3-point system.
The SAS 300 allows the operator to set the controls to fire every certain number of feet, or it can be manually fired by pressing the button on the remote.
Net more acres with less time, and fewer workers, to increase efficiency. A huge labor savings!
